Fundraising Regulator commissions independent evaluation of the Fundraising Preference Service

The Fundraising Regulator has commissioned Action Planning to conduct an independent review of the Fundraising Preference Service (FPS) and is seeking the views of charities.

The FPS is a free to use service operated by the Fundraising Regulator, which allows members of the public to end direct marketing communications from specified charities. People who wish to manage their contact with charities registered in England, Wales or Northern Ireland can use the service either online or via the telephone to stop direct marketing communications.

When the FPS was set up in 2017, we took the decision to review the entire service provision after it had been up and running for some time. After two and a half years of operation, we have commissioned Action Planning to conduct an independent evaluation. The review will assess whether the FPS has met its original aims and is providing a good quality service that delivers value.

As part of the review, Action Planning is capturing charities' views on the FPS and has released a questionnaire for charities. To take part in the survey, please click here. The survey closes at 9am on Monday 23 March 2020.

If you have any questions about the survey, please email admin@actionplanning.co.uk.
